In-Step Ministries will present "The Story of Gomer" at Lakeshore Christian Church in Antioch, TN outside of Nashville for the women's ministries kick off event Sept 11, 2010. This is truly a home coming for our family and for our ministry. Rich and I were married on Christmas Eve of 1999 at Lakeshore. We dedicated both of our children at Lakeshore. We also began our ministry at Lakeshore.
We finally have a set! After 6 1/2 years of doing our shows without a single piece of scenery, we were able to invest in two rocks and a tree stump. While doing "Gomer" on the road, I have sat on piano benches, metal folding chairs, huge velvet covered "throne" chairs, etc, but thanks be to God, we finally have our own pieces to sit on!

Here is a quick update on the Ohio Miami Valley Area Aglow International Retreat where we had the honor of ministering with “The Story of Gomer” last weekend in Milford, OH. Over night women’s retreats are one of my favorite places to do “Gomer” because it is a blessing to be able to spend time with the ladies and get to know them first, and then present the message of God’s redeeming love to open hearts.
After the play, we had one of the most special prayer times we have ever had in 6 ½ years of ministry.
We had a wonderful time at Church of the Rez in East Syracuse, NY. One man I spoke with said his young adult son was so moved during the performance of "The Story of Gomer" that he had to excuse himself during the show to find Kleenex! He said, "If you came to Syracuse wondering why God brought you here, I am sure it was for my son. This play was exactly what he needed at this point in his life. He is going through so much, and this play says it all"
